Why it happens:

The A/C condenser sits at the front of the vehicle, where it is exposed to constant heat, airflow, moisture, and road debris. Over time, fin corrosion, stone impact damage, or internal blockages reduce its ability to cool the refrigerant. In Polestar models, the higher thermal load from performance usage can accelerate wear. When the condenser can’t release heat efficiently, the entire cooling cycle struggles, causing poor cabin cooling or complete A/C shutdown.
