    Limited 2-Year / 24,000-Mile Warranty Policy

    Warranty Coverage

    We offer a limited warranty on most parts sold through our website, valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first, starting from the original purchase date. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use.

    This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and the specific vehicle on which the part was initially installed.

    Note: This warranty assumes standard personal use. We reserve the right to request documentation or deny coverage if there is reasonable evidence of commercial, fleet, racing, or other abnormal or abusive use, as determined at our sole discretion.

    Warranty Claim Requirements

    To file a warranty claim, you must provide:

    • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)
    • Clear photo or video evidence of the issue that:
      • Clearly shows the defective part and the defect
      • Displays any serial numbers or identifying marks
      • Is unaltered and authentic (see Anti-Fraud Policy)
    • A handwritten note placed next to the part showing:
      • The order number
      • The current date
      • The current odometer reading of the vehicle
      • The full VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
    • If the defect is not visibly apparent (e.g., intermittent, internal, or performance-related issues), we may also request:
      • A diagnostic report from a licensed repair facility or dealership
      • The physical return of the part for inspection
      • Additional supporting documentation before processing

    All evidence must be original and verifiable. Claims that lack required information or appear inconsistent with normal usage may be denied.

    Limitations and Exclusions

    This limited warranty does not cover:

    • Parts used more than 2 years or beyond 24,000 miles, whichever comes first
    • Commercial, fleet, rideshare, off-road, delivery, or racing use
    • Normal wear-and-tear components including (but not limited to):
      • Brake pads, rotors, drums, clutch discs, pressure plates
      • Filters, spark plugs, belts, gaskets, fluids
      • Shock absorbers, struts, bushings, ball joints, tie rods
      • Light bulbs, fuses, batteries, and electrical consumables
      • Wipers, rubber seals, cosmetic accessories, or floor mats
    • Improper installation or deviation from OEM procedures
    • Damage from negligence, accidents, or misuse
    • Unauthorized modifications or alterations
    • Parts that have been resold, transferred, or used in multiple vehicles
    • Claims lacking documentation, odometer reading, or VIN

    Anti-Fraud Policy

    To protect our customers and our business:

    • Digitally altered, AI-generated, or manipulated photos, videos, or documents will result in immediate claim denial.
    • We reserve the right to:
      • Report fraudulent claims to the appropriate authorities
      • Revoke warranty eligibility permanently
      • Delay or deny any claim pending further investigation

    All claims must reflect honest, lawful use under the original purchase terms.

    Special Conditions and Exceptions

    • A restocking fee may apply if a returned part is functional or misdiagnosed.
    • Warranty is void if installation deviated from manufacturer procedures.
    • Motorsport, track, or off-road use automatically voids coverage.
    • Sensors, electrical items, and batteries may have shorter warranty terms (typically 12 months); see individual listings.
    • Some parts may carry their own manufacturer warranties that supersede ours.

    We reserve the right to inspect all returned items before authorizing a warranty, deny any claim that does not meet policy terms, refuse reimbursement for labor, shipping, or installation, and modify or revoke warranty terms at any time with or without notice.

    Limited Lifetime Warranty – Bison Performance

    Coverage Overview

    Products sold under the Bison Performance label are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the product was originally installed.

    This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and the original vehicle. If the product is transferred to another party or installed on a different vehicle, the warranty is void.

    Note: This warranty assumes standard personal use. We reserve the right to request documentation or deny coverage if there is reasonable evidence of commercial, fleet, racing, or other abnormal or abusive use, as determined at our sole discretion.

    How This Warranty Differs From Our Standard Warranty

    • Most parts we sell are covered under our standard 2-year limited warranty. However, products labeled under the Bison Performance brand qualify for extended coverage under this Limited Lifetime Warranty.
    • If you purchase a product from our house brand, this Limited Lifetime Warranty replaces the 2-year warranty.
    • For all other products, the standard 2-year warranty applies.
    • All other terms, exclusions, and claim requirements remain the same for both warranty types.

    What’s Covered

    • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
    • Failure of the product under normal, non-commercial use
    • Replacement of the defective part (Labor, shipping, or incidental costs are not included)

    Warranty Claim Requirements

    To file a claim, you must provide:

    • Proof of purchase
    • Clear photo(s) or video(s) of the defective part, including:
      • A handwritten note showing the current date and order number
      • Visible product markings or serial numbers (if applicable)
      • Current odometer reading and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

However, if the defect is not visibly apparent (e.g., internal malfunction, intermittent issue, or performance-related failure), we may request a diagnostic report from a licensed repair facility or dealership to verify the issue.

    Limitations and Exclusions

    This Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover:

    • Products installed on vehicles used for commercial, fleet, rideshare, delivery, or racing purposes, or in high-mileage applications (over 30,000 miles per year)
    • Products damaged due to:
      • Improper installation
      • Misuse, negligence, or abuse
      • Modification or tampering
      • Accidents or collisions
    • Wear-and-tear components, unless a manufacturer defect is confirmed, including:
      • Brake pads, rotors, shoes, and drums
      • Clutch discs and pressure plates
      • Filters, spark plugs, belts, and fluids
      • Shock absorbers, struts, bushings, and control arms
      • Light bulbs, batteries, and fuses
      • Wiper blades, rubber seals, and weatherstripping
      • Radiator caps, gaskets, and O-rings
    • Any labor, towing, shipping, or incidental costs related to removal, reinstallation, or diagnosis
    • Products installed on a different vehicle than originally intended
    • Products not installed in accordance with OEM specifications
    • Claims lacking sufficient documentation or valid supporting evidence

    Disclaimer and Reserved Rights

    • We reserve the right to:
      • Inspect and test any product returned under warranty
      • Determine, at our discretion, whether the issue qualifies as a defect in materials or workmanship
      • Replace the product or offer store credit at our discretion
      • Deny claims that do not meet the terms and conditions
      • Modify this warranty at any time without notice (Modifications will not apply retroactively to previous purchases)
