Forging tradition and innovation since 1960, Osvat has been one of the leading companies worldwide for the production of a wide range of valves, valve seats, and valve guides for endothermic engines.
The original factory is located near Torino, Italy. An additional factory was later built in Romania to counteract the rising demand for high-quality internal engine components. Both factories employ over 100 technical personnel divided into two shifts.
Starting with the best quality raw steel sourced through suppliers in the US and Europe, the ability of the company to manage high production yield allowed it quick market penetration with substantially less cost than other heavy manufacturing companies.
This helped Osvat invest heavily back into its own tooling and production process, ensuring the best quality valves go into your engine.
The forged valves are produced with an “electro-upsetting” technology so the finished product tolerances are the ones normally associated with CNC lathe and grinding processes.
A number of high-tech processes go into the finishing of each valve, such as friction welding, stress release machining, precision straightening, plasma satellite welding, CNC profiling, induction hardening, laser etching, CNC seat finishing, and centerless grinding.
The development of these processes ensures the finished product is an extremely durable, extremely high tolerance component.
