BMW roundel emblem. Can be hood or trunk lid emblem or both. Check fitment options below to verify your application is correct. The emblem is what sets your car apart from the rest. A clean emblem keeps everything looking fresh, but it is not immune to the harsh outdoor conditions you subject your vehicle to every year. Because of the way they are constructed, it’s common for an older car to have the emblems flake or fall off, no matter how well you have maintained the exterior of your car. Manufacturer logo emblems (SAAB, BMW) are often made of a laminated gel-like glossy coating that can separate from the plastic or metal backing, leaving a plain silver disk behind. These emblems can be changed by simply prying off and replacing them. When doing so, it’s a good idea to replace the soft plastic grommets that hold them securely in the body. Vehicle model emblems (Aero, 328i) are usually simpler, just held on with high adhesion double sided tape. You can use an adhesive remover and heat to get rid of the left behind residue so that you can stick the new emblem on.
