With 95 sites spanning 4 continents, Hutchinson provides original equipment parts including a wide selection of engine and transmission mounts including OEM BMW, Volvo, and Mercedes Benz applications.
Hutchinson's history began in 1853 when Hiram Hutchinson arrived in France from the United States and founded the Compagnie du Caoutchouc Souple to manufacture rubber in Chalette-sur-Loing.
He has his sights set on the shoe market and before long the company expanded to bicycle tires. In 1903 production of car tires begins, with the introduction of a new manufacturing process.
From there, Hutchinson expanded their development to shoes, clothes, fabrics, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, heavy vehicles, balloons, heels, and technical products. Today, Hutchinson has turned its attention to technical markets and is a driving force in industrial production from automotive to aerospace applications.
